Eid Nac Sloof Ep. 01: Not Even Death Can Do Us Part
Episode one of the dark comedy: a romance that Death interrupts, and a joke about needing a little space.
Role
Hand-drawn character animation.
The brief
A love story that turns into a commentary about space, the kind you need in a relationship, and the kind on your keyboard.
Approach
Played as a straight romance until Death walks in, at which point the register flips and the episode becomes the argument it was always heading for.
The series runs on that turn: hand-drawn 2D, absurdist humour, and a punchline that arrives sooner than the audience expects.
